A lot of people (including me) are not getting updates for long periods of time, yet the last release was from March of 09. Seems this project is abandoned.

tinytwitter says it doesn't use sms but it does! i got charged for 212 txt messages in the past month, and i dont txt, i just used tinytwitter :(

You may think that because Tiny Twitter uses data that it is better than SMS. It's not - I recently travelled from Australia to the USA and England. I do this every year and my phone bill is never over $300. These two trips my bills were $1600 and $2000 due to Tiny Twitter continually accessing my data.

Sometimes in excess of 11mb were downloaded...

Tiny Twitter will send you broke.

I sent an email to the author to say thanks for the app and to offer a donation. That was about a week or two ago. So far, there has been no response. Has anyone see the author relpy here or through email?

WOW! This program is great! I gave up on Twikini, as it would simply not remember my passwords, and it would not chirp, only vibrate! This program is great!. Suggestion - can we (in the near future)
1: select the audio tone used for alerts,
2. select a theme (I really iked the white letters on black bg)
3. have a today entry field, something like Twit Today.

This program is great, and I hope I can find someplace to donate for it!

Any chance of Identi.ca / Laconica support in TinyTwitter? I know your client has "Twitter" in the name, but that's okay by us :) We have been gaining a lot of traction in the Twitter development community with lots of clients supporting Identi.ca and Laconica, but we need better support for the the Blackberry class of devices. It may not be that much work -- we have an almost 100% Twitter-compatible API. Please see:
